Clipperton is pleased to announce it acted as financial advisor to Brevo (formerly named Sendinblue) on its acquisition of the chatbot tool Chatra.
After raising $160 million in funding to support its technology and product investments and international expansion, Sendinblue announced the acquisition of three ecommerce marketing companies: Chatra, Metrilo and PushOwl. The acquisition of Chatra will allow Sendinblue to deploy automated chat notifications based on visitor behavior and respond to questions one-on-one via their website or social channels.
According to Armand Thiberge, CEO of Sendinblue, this series of acquisitions is “part of Sendinblue’s longer term vision to expand our marketing capabilities and dive into the growing e-commerce space.”
This deal highlights Clipperton’s capacity to repeatedly assist customers in their development as this transaction marks the 3rd collaboration between Clipperton and Sendinblue since 2017.
